The Gila Bend Area is best known for its innovative agricultural methods using irrigated desert land to grow alfalfa, cotton, wheat, barley, and jojoba. Attractions include the Painted Rocks Park, the Agua Caliente Hotel and Hot Springs, the Gila Bend Historical Museum, and the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant. The Gila Bend Indian Reservation is located here.
